HPE Group presents its R&D research at ICEM 2026

HPE Group took part in the 27th International Conference on Electrical Machines (ICEM 2026), held in Funchal, Madeira, from September 6 to 9.

During the conference, HPE Group presented the paper “Mitigation Strategies for Halbach Arrays Demagnetization in Radial-Flux Permanent Magnet Machines”, authored by Giuseppe Edoardo Antonio Porto, Lorenzo Fazzini and Jacopo Ferretti.

    The research focuses on strategies to mitigate demagnetization phenomena in Halbach arrays applied to radial-flux permanent magnet machines, exploring approaches that can help preserve machine performance under demanding operating conditions.

The paper was presented by Lorenzo Fazzini and Giuseppe Edoardo Antonio Porto during the technical sessions of ICEM 2026, providing an opportunity to share HPE Group work with an international audience of researchers, engineers and industry professionals.
