ECS 4 DRES PROJECT

The project:

ECS 4 Dres Aims to develop flexible, coordinated, and resilient distributed energy systems through the creation of:

  • High-efficiency power converters for interfacing renewable sources with distribution.
  • Energy storage devices.

The project also focuses on the development of advanced monitoring and control technologies based on artificial intelligence algorithms to enhance the safety and resilience of distributed energy systems.

What HPE does:

    1. Further development stage of the DC-DC converter (TRANSFORM) specialized as an on-board battery charger (30 kW/800V).
    2. Development of an AI-based monitoring tool to be implemented in the converter’s microcontroller (STM Stellar X).
    3. Development of the AI algorithm for predicting energy generation from renewable sources.
    4. Development of software for recording the power delivered and distributed via Blockchain.
