Our experience at the AI Village: innovation and AI for the future of industry

On Wednesday, September 4, and Thursday, September 5, HPE Group participated in Farete, the trade fair organized by Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, dedicated to networking and sharing experiences. In this context, specifically in the digital area dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, the “AI Village,” HPE Group had the opportunity to share its experiences and available applications for the industrial and automotive sectors.

During the event, HPE Group presented the EvoNewral product range, innovative solutions that integrate advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies to optimize processes and improve the performance of systems and products. Through the workshop “AI-Driven Manufacturing: AI Applications for Connected Products and Optimized Processes,” we illustrated two practical applications of artificial intelligence in use for electric motors (“Sentinel for State“) and in 3D printing activities (“Sentinel for Layer“) at our Metal Additive Center.

The use cases dedicated to electric motors are the result of R&D activities developed by the company in collaboration with STMicroelectronics within the “Prometeo Joint Innovation Lab.” These applications were also presented through the demonstrator used at CES in Las Vegas 2024.

Participation in Farete was an extremely positive and stimulating experience, allowing the company to engage actively with other local players in the sector and beyond, share future prospects for the use of AI in the industrial and automotive sectors, and demonstrate the contributions these solutions can bring to these industries.
