A longstanding leader in the automotive, motorsport, and defense sectors, HPE Group enters a new phase of its growth path with this appointment, with the goal of further strengthening its position in the international landscape of applied engineering and high-performance component manufacturing.
With more than twenty-five years of leadership experience in the automotive world, Matteo Torre brings to HPE Group deep industry knowledge and a strategic vision centered on technology, sustainability, and the value of people.

BIO – Matteo Torre, Chief Executive Officer of HPE Group
Matteo Torre is originally from Piacenza and holds a degree in Economics from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
He has more than twenty-five years of experience in the automotive sector, gained in leading international environments.
He began his career at Electrolux before joining Ferrari S.p.A., where he embarked on a path of significant professional growth, taking on roles of increasing responsibility both in Italy and abroad.
After his early years in Maranello, he served as General Manager of the Ferrari and Maserati dealership in Paris, then as Head of Northern Europe markets based in London, and later as President and CEO of Ferrari Greater China in Shanghai. In recent years, he served as President of Ferrari North America, based in New Jersey.
With his appointment as CEO of HPE Group, Matteo Torre brings with him a global perspective, strong strategic expertise, and a deep focus on the value of people and a culture of innovation.
