Computer Vision and additive manufacturing: innovation in quality control
6 Giugno 2025On Wednesday, June 4th, HPE Group had the honour of sitting down for a conversation with two iconic figures representing Italian excellence in the automotive and motorsport world: Engineer Piero Ferrari and Engineer Giampaolo Dallara, founder of the eponymous company and global leader in the design and production of racing cars.
The meeting was part of our internal event series “60’ con”, a key element of Mens Aperta, the HPE Group initiative dedicated to fostering cultural, technical, and value-driven growth among our people. The goal? To create real moments of dialogue with leaders from industry, entrepreneurship and the broader cultural landscape—people who inspire through their vision and lived experience.
During the event, our guests shared—with sincerity, humour, and a deep, authentic perspective—their personal and professional journeys, focusing on essential themes such as:
-
the ability to make complex decisions under pressure;
-
the importance of embracing mistakes as learning tools;
-
the need to be ready for change while staying true to one’s identity;
-
and above all, the value of useful innovation: the kind that addresses real needs and drives both technological and human progress.
The session proved to be a truly inspiring moment—not only for our younger employees but for anyone who believes that true expertise must always go hand in hand with courage and passion.
This initiative reaffirms HPE Group’s commitment to cultivating an open, dynamic, and continuously evolving corporate culture. Through Mens Aperta, we invest in a learning model that goes beyond the classroom and enriches technical expertise with experiences of deep human value.
