HPE Group @ ICTP – School on Applied AI for Sustainable Development

Over the past few days, the HPE Group team took part in the “School on Applied AI for Sustainable Development,” organized by ICTP in Trieste.
We had the pleasure of engaging with 42 participants from 28 different countries to explore the topic of semiconductor reliability in power electronic converters.
The session was organized into three parts

• An introduction to HPE’s activities in power electronics and sensing technologies
• An analysis of semiconductor reliability and methodologies for generating synthetic data, which are essential for training predictive maintenance models
• A hands-on laboratory session, where participants applied the presented methods using Python and open-source tools

This activity supports the research objectives of the European projects R-PODID and ECS4DRES.
