HPE Group at Motor Valley Fest 2025: innovation, sustainability, and the development of future talent.

From June 6 to 9, 2025, the city of Modena will host once again the  Motor Valley Fest, a flagship event celebrating the excellence of the Italian automotive industry. The festival features exhibitions, keynote talks, networking opportunities, and open-factory experiences, bringing together companies, institutions, professionals, and young talents.

Focus on Innovation, Sustainability and ESG Strategies

Among the key sessions on Friday, June 6, HPE Group will participate in the conference: “Sustainability and Competitiveness: ESG Strategies, European Regulations, and Innovation for the Future.” Representing HPE Group will be Giorgia Volta, Human Resources & Sustainability Director, who will discuss how sustainability—as defined by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals—goes beyond climate action to encompass a broader protection of the planet and its ecosystems.

New European Regulations: CSRD and Carbon Emissions Reporting

The panel will also explore the impact of new European regulations, particularly the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This directive requires companies to update their management systems and enhance transparency.

One example is the obligation to report CO₂ emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 categories, aligning with the goal of achieving Net Carbon Zero.

Engaging with Future Talent: HPE at Talent Talk

Also on Friday, June 6, HPE Group will join the Talent Talk session. This initiative is designed to foster a connection between young talents and industry professionals, offering students and early-career professionals insight into careers in mobility and innovation.

HPE team members will share personal career stories, skills required in the sector, and what it takes to work in a rapidly evolving automotive ecosystem.
